These visits are bespoke to each individual breeder and litter, in some cases it is an opportunity for the breeder to be simply reassured that everything is ok, pups are feeding well etc and advice can be given on worming, weaning and re homing. Visits usually take place within 48 hours of whelping, however they can take place at any point after the pups are born if you are experiencing any problem with the pups development. (e.g. not gaining weight, not walking at the expected 3 weeks of age, etc.)
