Struggling Neonates.

Sometimes things don’t go according to plan and we find ourselves with a puppy or kitten that isn’t doing as well as its littermates. There may be no weight gain, weight loss, poor suck reflex, or a cleft palate. It’s mother may push it to the edges of the whelping box so it gets cold and can fail quickly.

The Puppy Midwife is experienced in caring for those little ones who may be struggling. Obviously we can make no guarantees for a happy ending but equipped with an incubator, oxygen and experience with tube feeding and caring for these special babies over 24 hours, we may be able to make a difference.

Cost for this service is £25 per day per neonate, plus cost of any necessary equipment and supplies.
